Ngong Ping Village is set on a 1.5 hectare site on Lantau Island, adjacent to Ngong Ping Cable Car's Ngong Ping Terminal and the Tian Tan Buddha Statue.

This amazing cultural themed village has been architecturally designed and landscaped to reflect the cultural and spiritual integrity of the Ngong Ping area. It boasts several major attractions - Walking with Buddha, Monkey's Tale Theatre and the Ngong Ping Tea House - as well as a diverse array of retail, dining and entertainment experiences.

Walking with Buddha is an immersive, multimedia attraction allowing guests to follow the life of Siddhartha Gautama - the man who became Buddha - and his path to enlightenment. Here you will discover the origins of Buddhism and track its expansion across the globe. You will also be enlightened as to the essence of Buddha's teachings through a variety of themed scenes and activities.
Monkey's Tale Theatre is a charming and comical 'show' inspired by the famous Buddhist Jataka stories. Set in a magical courtyard under the branches of a majestic Bodhi Tree, this story will engage and inspire guests of all ages.

Meanwhile, at the Ngong Ping Tea House, you can enjoy traditional Chinese tea ceremonies and sample a selection of fine teas and cakes. Or simply soak up the ambience and tranquil surrounds in the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Strolling around the Village, you will be entertained by an ever-changing array of street theatre and performances. Watch out for the kung-fu demonstrations, be amused by the impressive talents of our jugglers or just take the time to enjoy a Chinese opera show. Entertainment is scheduled to happen throughout the day and is complimentary to Village guests.

As well as attractions and entertainment, Ngong Ping Village also offers its visitors a diverse array of dining and shopping experiences.

Entry to Ngong Ping Village is free.
